Vietnam

Why Vietnam

Vietnam is the change of pace. One minute you are weaving through the noise and colour of Hanoi, the next you are surrounded by limestone mountains, rice fields or completely still water. It is busy, beautiful, slightly chaotic and full of the kind of moments you could never properly plan for. This is a trip for people who want to feel like they have actually travelled somewhere.

Contrast

Nothing Stays The Same For Long

Vietnam changes quickly. City streets turn into open countryside, traffic disappears into mountain roads and busy mornings give way to evenings somewhere completely different. That constant contrast is what makes travelling through it so addictive.

FAQs

Before You Ask

You should fly into Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) in Hanoi Vietnam. You will end your travel program with us in Hoi An. The nearest airport to here will be Da Nang International Airport (DAD) we recommend that you book a return flight from here or use the local network to get yourself back to Hanoi. Our team on the ground will also be glad to assist with this.

Airport transfers are included in your package. Once you provide us with your flight details, our team will arrange for a driver to meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the accommodation.

We recommend arriving at the airport by early afternoon on the start date to allow time for transfers and check-in. If you arrive earlier or later, we’ll still accommodate you, but early afternoon ensures you don’t miss the welcome activities.

Most foreign nationals (including visitors from the US, Canada, Australia, and many European countries) can apply for a Vietnam eVisa online before travel. Some nationalities may also qualify for visa exemptions depending on the length of stay. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date, and you may be asked to provide proof of onward travel. We recommend checking the latest entry requirements before departure, as visa policies can change. Official information and eVisa applications are available here: https://evisa.gov.vn/

We recommend bringing lightweight activewear for workouts, swimwear, comfortable casual clothes for downtime, and a good pair of trainers. Don’t forget essentials like sunscreen, insect repellent, and any personal toiletries you prefer.

Towels and basic toiletries are provided at the accommodation. Laundry service is available at an additional cost if needed during your stay.

Some places in Vietnam accept credit and debit cards, but it’s useful to carry Vietnamese Dong (VND) for purchases at local shops, and tips. ATMs are widely available. Our team will assist you if you need help getting to or accessing an ATM.

Yes, we strongly recommend having valid travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost or delayed luggage. This ensures peace of mind throughout your stay and protects you in the event of any unexpected circumstances.

Your insurance should include: Medical care and emergency evacuation Trip cancellation or interruption Lost, stolen, or delayed baggage Coverage for fitness or adventure activities (if applicable)

If your flight is delayed or cancelled, here’s how we recommend handling it: Notify us promptly, we can assist with updated transfer timing or alternative arrival plans. Your airline is responsible for helping you reach Bali (often by rebooking or refund) and must provide meals, refreshment vouchers, and hotel accommodation if delays extend overnight (depending on their policies and jurisdiction) Keep all documentation, boarding passes, receipts, and delay notifications, to file a travel insurance claim for compensation, rebooking fees, or extra accommodation and meals. If your airline does not provide what you need, a comprehensive travel insurance policy can help reimburse you for costs including trip interruptions, accommodation, meals, and missed bookings
