Why Philippines

The Philippines is built for the kind of BSL trip that feels like a proper adventure. Think island-hopping through Palawan, hidden lagoons, limestone cliffs, snorkelling, remote beaches and days spent moving between places that feel completely different from one another. It is less about staying put and more about the journey itself.

Islands

A Different Island Every Few Days

The Philippines is made up of thousands of islands, and that is exactly what makes the trip work. Instead of seeing one beach and calling it done, you move between different islands, bays and coastal stops, with the scenery changing constantly along the way.

Before You Ask

You should fly into Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS) in Palawan, Philippines. This is the main airport on the island. Worth noting: it's not uncommon to need 2–3 flight transfers to reach the most beautiful parts of the Philippines, more than worth it once you're there, and our team will help you find the best routes.

Airport transfers are included in your package. Once you provide us with your flight details, our team will arrange for a driver to meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the accommodation.

We recommend arriving at the airport by early afternoon on the start date to allow time for transfers and check-in. If you arrive earlier or later, we'll still accommodate you, but early afternoon ensures you don't miss the welcome activities.

Most foreign nationals (including US, UK, Canada, Australia) can enter the Philippines without a visa for up to 30 days, with a passport valid 6+ months, a return ticket, and mandatory eTravel registration, etravel.gov.ph.

We recommend bringing lightweight activewear for workouts, swimwear, comfortable casual clothes for downtime, and a good pair of trainers. Don't forget essentials like sunscreen, insect repellent, and any personal toiletries you prefer.

Towels and basic toiletries are provided at the accommodation. Laundry service is available at an additional cost if needed during your stay.

Some places in the Philippines accept credit and debit cards, but it's useful to carry Filipino Peso (PHP) for purchases at local shops and tips. ATMs are available but generally limited to the larger islands, our team will help you get to or access one if needed.

Yes, we strongly recommend having valid travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost or delayed luggage. This ensures peace of mind throughout your stay and protects you in the event of any unexpected circumstances.

Your insurance should include medical care and emergency evacuation, trip cancellation or interruption, lost/stolen/delayed baggage, and coverage for fitness or adventure activities where applicable.

If your flight is delayed or cancelled, notify us promptly so we can assist with updated transfer timing or alternative arrival plans. Your airline is responsible for helping you reach the Philippines (often by rebooking or refunding) and must provide meals, refreshment vouchers, and hotel accommodation if delays extend overnight, depending on their policies and jurisdiction. Keep all documentation, boarding passes, receipts, and delay notifications, to file a travel insurance claim. If your airline does not provide what you need, a comprehensive travel insurance policy can help reimburse you for costs including trip interruptions, accommodation, meals, and missed bookings. NOTE: the live site carries a copy-paste bug here referencing "reach Bali" fixed to "reach the Philippines" in this rebuild.
